Status. Per configs/deployment/topology.yaml this service is authored (Terraform module written) but not yet provisioned or live (alphaswarm.io/evidence-state: declared, alphaswarm.io/live: "false"; topology labels it "Instatus, future"). Treat the description below as the design, not a confirmed-running service. Note also: status.alpha-swarm.ai is a different, separately-declared service — the alphaswarm-status-dashboard institutional go-live program tracker (a Cloudflare Worker), not this Instatus page.

The planned public incident page. To be provisioned on Instatus SaaS and CNAMEd to incidents.alpha-swarm.ai on a Cloudflare zone distinct from alpha-swarm.ai. Intended to survive full cluster + edge outages — operators would post updates from the Instatus dashboard even when the AlphaSwarm cluster is down.

Components​

The instatus Terraform module's default primary_components (one Instatus component per group) are:

  • API — alphaswarm-core (api.alpha-swarm.ai), alphaswarm-cp (manage.alpha-swarm.ai)
  • Frontend — alphaswarm-client (alpha-swarm.ai), alphaswarm-ui (cloud-hosted UI), alphaswarm-docs (docs.alpha-swarm.ai)
  • Data — data (Iceberg, Postgres, pgvector, Redis), kafka (Redpanda + Flink)
  • Compute — agents (agent / RL / workflow execution)
  • Trading — paper (paper trading)

Update flow​

The instatus Terraform module currently provisions the Instatus page, its components, and a Slack incident webhook (main.tf):

  • Incidents are posted manually by the on-call operator from the Instatus dashboard, which also fans out to the configured Slack webhook.
  • No automated per-service heartbeat publisher or scheduled-maintenance resource exists in the module yet.
